Terms of sale

These terms and conditions govern the use of this site and the purchase of jewelry made through it. By contacting us to purchase an item, you agree to the terms set forth below.

Who Sells

The jewelry is created and sold by Ursula Alcaino · Orfebrería, a designer jewelry workshop located in Chile. You can contact us via the email address listed at the bottom of this page, on WhatsApp, or on Instagram.

How to Buy

This site does not accept online payments. If you’re interested in an item, contact us via WhatsApp, Instagram, or email. Before finalizing the purchase, we’ll confirm in writing its availability, the final price, the payment method, and shipping details. The purchase is considered finalized once both parties confirm these terms.

Prices and Payment

When prices are displayed, they are in Chilean pesos (CLP) and are for reference only until we confirm them in writing. Available payment methods are provided at the time the purchase is finalized. The item is reserved once payment is confirmed or whatever has been agreed upon as a reservation.

Shipping

We’ll coordinate shipping with you before finalizing your purchase, letting you know the cost, estimated delivery time, and shipping carrier. For international shipments, any taxes, duties, and customs clearance fees in your country are the responsibility of the buyer. Once the item has been handed over to the carrier, we’ll provide you with the tracking number, if available.

Exchanges, Right of Withdrawal, and Warranty

If you’re purchasing from Chile, this online sale entitles you to a right of withdrawal within 10 days of receiving the item, in accordance with Law No. 19,496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights, provided that you return it in the same condition in which you received it. The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made items produced according to your specifications. To exercise this right, please contact us with your name and purchase details.

If an item has a manufacturing defect, you are entitled to the legal warranty: you may choose between repair, replacement, or a refund within the timeframe established by law. If you make a purchase from another country, the rights granted to you by the law of your place of residence also apply.

Custom Orders

Custom-made pieces, or those modified upon request, are agreed upon in writing: design, materials, price, delivery date, and payment terms. During the production process, we may ask you to confirm certain details.

Jewelry Care

950 silver tarnishes over time and when exposed to perfume, chlorine, or moisture. To preserve it, store it in a dry place and clean it with a soft cloth. Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect.

Intellectual Property

The designs, photographs, and text on this site are the property of Ursula Alcaino · Orfebrería. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without written permission.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Nothing herein limits the inalienable rights granted to consumers by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as needed. The version published at the time you agreed to your purchase applies.
